Building Fire Response

Just prior to 11:30 this morning, RFC, Berwyn and Bryn Mawr Fire Companies, were dispatched to the 400 block of Conestoga Road for a building fire, reported to be the oven.
Engine 15, Chief 15 and Quint 15 all arrived within five minutes to smoke showing from the residence.
Engine 15's crew stretched an 1 3/4" line to the front door, Quint 15 raised the main to the roof and Chief 15 assumed Conestoga Command.
Engine 15's crew encountered heavy smoke inside the house.
They quickly located a fire in the oven and extinguished it.
Berwyn and Bryn Mawr Fire Companies were recalled.
RFC crews removed the oven and began positive pressure ventilation.
Crews cleared the call in about forty-five minutes.
