Little Smiles Gala

Little Smiles PA and the Newtown Square Fire Company, invited RFC and other fire companies, EMS and police departments in the area to participate in a very special community event, the Little Smiles PA "Stars Ball" Gala, which was held on April 11 at Ellis Preserve.
The Stars Ball is modeled after the Oscars, but the true stars of the evening were 11 children from CHOP,
Nemours, Shriners, St. Christopher's, Frankie's World, and Visitation Home.
These children face significant medical challenges, and this event was designed to give them a night where they can forget their
struggles and truly feel like celebrities.
Fire apparatus staged at Newtown Square's firehouse and met with the children who were able to meet firefighters and EMS personnel and view fire apparatus and ambulances close up.
After the meet and greet, emergency apparatus escorted the children to the Ellis Preserve and cheered them on while they were introduced to the crowd at the event.
