On February 23rd, shortly after 3:30 PM, RFC was dispatched to the 200 block of Midland Avenue for a person with their leg stuck in a snowblower. Crews arrived and EMS began treating the person for pain management while fire crews worked to stabilize the snowblower and dismantle the blades of the blower where the leg was stuck. Within a few minutes, crews were able to dislodge the patient's leg. EMS transported the patient to the hospital. Recently, the teen from the incident and his father came to the station to update the crews on his injury and to thank the crews for their work that day. We wish him well on a speedy recovery.
