Recently, members of RFC, Berwyn and Paoli Fire Companies completed Pump Ops I training at Radnor, taught by instructors from Bucks County. Students consisted of those who were taking the class as a refresher and those who were beginning the process to drive and operate fire apparatus.

The program started with two nights of classroom at RFC, where fundamentals and safety were emphasized. An all day practical exercise, where students were tested on several pump operations, consisting of drafting, pumping multiple lines and master streams, finished out the training.
