At 7:54 PM, RFC Fire and EMS were dispatched to the area of Skunk Hollow Park in the 500 block of Darby-Paoli Road for a crash with entrapment. Additional information from Delaware County indicated that the single vehicle crash took down a utility pole and wires.

While still enroute to the scene, PECO was requested to respond. Crews arrived to find a single vehicle had left the roadway, taken down a pole and wires and come to rest on top of a guard rail. With live wires resting on top of the vehicle, the uninjured occupants were contacted and advised to not attempt exiting the vehicle until PECO could arrive and assess the situation.

Once PECO arrived and made the area safe, crews were able to get the driver's door open and remove the driver and passenger.

RFC crews cleared within forty-five minutes and returned to the station.
