At 5:13 on Monday evening, RFC and mutual aid units were dispatched to the 300 block of E. Lancaster Ave. for the report of a structure fire.

Units responded within minutes and arrived on scene quickly reporting a vehicle on fire inside of a service station repair bay. Crews from Quint 15 stretched an 1 3/4” handline into the building and knocked the bulk of the fire. Additional crews arrived and supplied the Quint with water and assisted with suppression and overhaul. Assistant 15 had Incident Command with Deputy 15 in charge of operations.

Crews cleared the scene within an hour and returned to the station to clean and get apparatus back in service.
