At 8:59 this morning, RFC was dispatched to assist the Berwyn Fire Company with an injured worker on the roof of a building on West Valley Road.
Quint 15 arrived and set up the ladder to the roof. A Stokes basket and ropes were taken to the roof to start to assist the Berwyn crew.
Once enough personnel were on the scene, the decision was made to bring the worker down through an interior stairwell in the Stokes basket.
RFC returned to the firehouse within an hour.
