WAYNE, PA - May 16-22, 2021, is the 46th annual National EMS Week. In 1974, President Gerald Ford authorized EMS Week to celebrate EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our nation's communities. This year's theme is This Is EMS: Caring for Our Communities.
The leadership of RFC would like to recognize the tremendous work of our dedicated Paramedics, EMTs and Firefighters. Our career staff and volunteers have worked hard to provide emergency services 24x7 during one of the more challenging periods for first responders. The COVID-19 pandemic has shown a light on the importance of EMS and having quality providers that can save lives.
Stay tuned to our website and social media this week as we highlight the great work of our EMS providers.
Career staff and volunteers are being recognized as part of National EMS Week.
