The Radnor Fire Company assisted the Malvern Fire Company on the 2nd alarm for an apartment building fire in the 100 block of Monument Avenue in Malvern Borough.

The crew of Radnor Quint 15 assisted with fire suppression and clean-up prior to being released from the scene before 4:30 p.m. Fortunately no civilians or firefighters were injured during the fire.

First responders from Paoli, Berwyn, East Whiteland, Newtown Square, Kimberton, Lionville and West Chester also responded. The Chester County Fire Marshals Office and PA State Police Fire Marshal are investigating the cause of the blaze.
