The first in crews encountered smoke throughout the building and fire present in the walls from the basement all the way up to the 3rd floor. The fire broke through the roof for a short period of time, but was quickly contained.

The Radnor Township Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire. There were no reported civilian injuries, but two firefighters suffered minor hand injuries.

Special thanks to WAWA of Wayne and WAWA of Strafford for their generous and unexpected delivery of hot refreshments on scene. This was appreciated by all personnel, especially due to the cold temperatures during the fire and clean-up effort.
