| At 2:40 this afternoon, Radnor, Berwyn and Bryn Mawr Fire Companies were dispatched to the 800 block of Radnor Street Road in the Tredyffrin section of Wayne for a building fire, reported to be a dryer in the basement.
RFC crews arrived and found the laundry room fully charged with black smoke. An 1 3/4" line was stretched into the laundry room and the fire was extinguished.
Bryn Mawr Fire Company was recalled.
RFC and Berwyn crews deployed several fans and used PPV to clear the building of smoke.
RFC and Berwyn cleared the scene within an hour. |
