| At the weekly training session, RFC members trained on an SCBA obstacle course.
Members wore full turn out gear and SCBA with a hood over their heads to simulate the zero visibility often encountered on the fire ground.
Members crawled through a maze, over objects and under low clearances including a simulated wall that they had to navigate through to finish the course.
During the crawl, other challenges were presented to the crews. There were simulated ceiling collapses, unconscious victims and debris that caught their air cylinders. |
