At approximately 10:41 AM, RFC and Broomall were dispatched to mile marker 11.7 southbound on the Blue Route for a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor trailer.

Squad 15 was just clearing a call nearby when they were dispatched to this call.

The crew from the Squad arrived and reported a vehicle under the tractor trailer and the vehicle operator was trapped inside the car. Using rescue tools, the driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the hospital.

RFC remained on the scene for over an hour until both vehicles were removed from the highway.
