At 5:39 PM, RFC was dispatched to assist the Berwyn Fire Company on Barton Lane for a house fire with possible entrapment.
Crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the residence, the occupants had gotten out of the house but were in need of medical attention.
While the occupants were being assisted off of the property, fire broke out through the first floor windows on the front of the house.
RFC firefighters assisted with extinguishment and overhaul of the scene.
Crews were released by Berwyn Command within two hours of dispatch.
