WAYNE, PA – The Radnor Fire Company is celebrating National Emergency Medical Services Week during the week of May 18th. This year’s event is organized around the theme, ‘EMS Dedicated for Life’.

The Radnor Fire Company Ambulance has already responded to over 800 incidents in 2014. These calls have been handled with a fleet of three Ambulances that can operate as a Basic Life Support (BLS) unit or Advanced Life Support (ALS) unit and a Quick Response Service (QRS) Medic Responder SUV.

The Radnor EMS team consists of a Medical Command Physician, Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians, Firefighters and Emergency Medical Responders. Our goal every day is to respond quickly, professionally and compassionately to the citizens and visitors of Radnor and Tredyffrin Townships.

An EMS Week Open House will be held at the fire station, located at 121 South Wayne Avenue in downtown Wayne, on Thursday, May 22nd from 6 - 8 p.m. This event is open to the public. A number of activities will be available, including fire station tours, blood pressure screenings provided by Main Line Health, basic life saving techniques and equipment demonstrations.

Please visit the Radnor Fire Company website at www.RadnorFire.com for more details about our Open House. You may also call the fire station at 610-687-3245 ext. 10 with any questions.
