Firefighters Extinguish Brush Fire on Matsonford Rd.

The Radnor Fire Company was dispatched to the 200 block of Matsonford Road for a reported brush fire at 3:30 p.m. Chief Maguire arrived on scene to find a 30' x 30' area of a brush on fire and rapidly spreading.

Engine 15-1 arrived shortly after and contained the fire quickly. Squad 15 arrived a short time later to supplement water.

All units were clear of the scene by 4 p.m.
