At 5:48 PM, Radnor Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Berwyn Fire Company on a structure fire located at Sugartown and Leopard Roads in Berwyn, Easttown Township.
Upon the arrival of the first Berwyn Engine, fire was reported throughout the large house.
RFC personnel arrived and assisted with completing the lay from the hydrant, fire suppression and overhaul.
Crews were rotated in and out of the house often due to the extreme fire conditions.
The Radnor crews were released from the scene around 8:30 PM and returned to the firehouse where firefighters worked for another hour getting equipment back in service.
