High winds kept fire companies along the Main Line busy on Sunday. RFC was called for a tree into a house on Upper Gulph Road and for downed wires on Old Eagle School Road. The occupants of the house were at home when a large tree fell onto the house causing extensive damage. No one inside was injured. Chief 15 requested Tredyffrin Township PD, a building inspector and PECO. The wires on Old Eagle came down due to a tree which fell across the roadway, shutting down traffic. While the above incidents were happening, Engine 15 was dispatched to assist the Bridgeport FC on a building fire. The engine was released from Bridgeport and were sent to cover the Bryn Mawr Fire Company while they operated at a fire in Lower Merion. RFC ended the day with a response to South Devon Avenue for arcing wires.
