A little before 11 PM on Thursday, November 30th, RFC was dispatched to southbound Blue Route at mile marker 11.1 to assist the Pennsylvania State Police on a crash.
Chief 15 and Squad 15 arrived to find a pick-up truck crashed into a highway attenuator vehicle on the right shoulder of the highway.
The occupant of the pick-up fled the scene on foot prior to emergency responders arriving.
Crews assisted in shutting down two lanes of the highway until the vehicle could be removed.
Crews also assisted in cleaning up the debris.
RFC was available within an hour.
