At 8:17 PM on Saturday, Radnor Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Malvern Fire Company on a residential structure fire on Arlington Road in Willistown Township, as part of the first alarm.
Chief 15 and Squad 15, with a crew of five, arrived on location nine minutes after dispatch.
Upon checking in at the Command Post, the RFC crew was assigned with interior duties, opening up walls and ceilings to find the hidden fire.
Crews continued to assist with suppression, overhaul and ventilation, working alongside Malvern, Paoli, Berwyn, East Whiteland and Goshen firefighters.
The RFC crew was released from the scene after two hours and spent another thirty minutes back at Radnor restoring tools and equipment.
While on scene in Malvern, two other calls for service in Radnor were handled by crews standing by on station.
