RFC was dispatched a little after 7PM to a structure fire, reported to be a chimney, in the 700 block of Church Road. The initial dispatch also brought engines from Berwyn, Newtown Square and Broomall. First arriving crews had nothing showing from the exterior but smoke present in the interior of the house. Crews cleaned out the fireplace and removed the material to the outside. An inspection of the chimney revealed that the fire had burned itself out. Fans were set up at the door and all floors were ventilated. RFC cleared the scene within the hour.
