Around 7 AM on Monday, April 17th, Radnor Fire Company Fire and EMS were dispatched to assist the Bryn Mawr Fire Company on an accident with entrapment on Bryn Mawr Avenue, near Castlefinn Lane.
Crews arrived to find a vehicle off the side of the road with a guard rail impaled in the driver's door.
Crews used a saw to cut off the guard rail and then rescue tools to pry off the door and cut the post to access the patient.
The patient was extricated, packaged and transported to the hospital by the RFC MICU.
