Chad Esher was selected as the 2022 Firefighter of the Year this past Monday night.
Each year at the first meeting in April, a firefighter of the year is announced.
The previous five winners of the award form a selection committee and make the decision based on nominations made by the membership. Criteria for the award includes attendance at emergency calls and training sessions, involvement in various community events and the overall positive promotion of the Radnor Fire Company.
Chad has been a firefighter since 2019.
His family joined him at the presentation.
