On Monday night, members of RFC received a review of techniques and methods that are critical to successfully making a water rescue.
Instructor Bill Elder and Assistant Chief Ryan Maguire oversaw the firefighters practice a number of stations including the proper way to toss a rescue line, how to tie a ring bouy to shore based lines, re-packing the rope bags and the procedure for lower the boat from its' stowed position in the engine bay ceiling.
The drill was capped off with firefighters donning their rescue suits while being timed.
