On Thursday, February 23rd, crews had just returned to the firehouse from a demo at the Citizen's Police Academy at the Radnor Police station. As firefighters were putting the apparatus back in service, RFC was dispatched, shortly after 9 PM, to assist the Newtown Square Fire Company in the 200 block of Wedgewood Circle in Newtown Township for smoke in the dwelling.
Quint 15 responded with a full crew and was the second on scene. Squad 15 followed a short time later. The Quint crew assisted the NSFC crew with locating the source of the smoke and with ventilation.
Crews returned to Radnor within an hour.
