RFC held a "Fill the Firetruck Food Drive" on Saturday December 10th from 10-2. The donations will benefit the Wayne Food Pantry who services 70+ families a week (double the number of families pre pandemic) and also partners with another local organization that helps young/teen moms with food and clothing. Our first food drive was a success, filling the bed of the Mack. Food will still be collected at the firehouse through this Monday at 1800 hours when firefighters will take the food to the Wayne Food Pantry. If you have extra canned goods, please drop them in the box at the firehouse. Thanks to Jen and Chad Esher who organized the drive.
