Assist to Berwyn Fire Company

Radnor Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Berwyn Fire Company on Wallace Drive in Tredyffrin Township a little before 8:30 PM on November 21st.
Chief 15 and Quint 15 (with a crew of five) arrived on location to a single family dwelling with heavy smoke coming from the roofline.
Crews stretched an 1 3/4" line through the front door and to the attic where the fire was located.
Quint 15 raised the main to the roof to support firefighting efforts.
Berwyn Engine 2-3 laid a supply line from the hydrant and fed the Quint.
Radnor and Berwyn crews completed extinguishment and overhaul.
Valley Forge Fire Company was on location as the Rapid Intervention Team.
There were no injuries to either the residents or firefighters.
RFC had seventeen firefighters on location to assist the Berwyn crews.
RFC returned to station after 10 PM and spent another hour getting the apparatus back in service.
