A little after 4 PM on Thursday, November 10th, Radnor Fire Company was dispatched to the Penn Medicine property on King of Prussia Road for a truck with smoke coming out of the back.
Chief 15 and Squad 15 arrived and found a paper shredding truck in the driveway with smoke visible.
The Squad crew stretched an 1 3/4" line to the rear of the truck prior to opening the doors.
Once opened, a smoldering fire was located in the pile of shredded paper. Crews raked out the area and wet down the contents of the truck.
Crews cleared the call and returned to the firehouse within 45 minutes.
