This past Sunday, several members of the Radnor Fire Company were joined by firefighters from Berwyn, Manoa, Bridgeport and Chester Fire Departments to complete their Water Rescue and Emergency Response training.
The firefighters went to the Schuylkill River in Lower Merion and demonstrated the techniques learned during the course, which consisted of both classroom lecture and swimming exercises in a local pool.
They now join their various fire companies as Operations Level firefighters to provide additional rescue services to the community.
