On June 1st at 10:20 AM, Radnor and Berwyn Fire Companies were dispatched to a reported house fire in the 100 block of Bloomingdale Avenue.
Chief 15 arrived and spoke with a contractor who stated that there had been a fire in the mechanical room on the first floor.
The first floor was charged with smoke and powder from a discharged fire extinguisher.
Quint 15's crew entered the building and found that the fire was still smoldering in the floor of the mechanical room.
Radnor and Berwyn firefighters ventilated the house and wet down the remaining embers.
Crews cleared the scene within forty-five minutes.
