On Friday evening, May 20th around 9 PM, Radnor Fire Company, along with an engine from the Berwyn Fire Company, was dispatched to the 200 block of North Radnor Chester Road for a reported building fire.
Upon arrival, crews found that the lighting for the sign for the business was arcing and scorching the exterior facade of the building.
Crews laddered the building with a ground ladder and the aerial ladder to check the lighting and to check for signs for extension.
Firefighters were able to isolate the problem and found no fire extension inside the building.
Radnor and Berwyn were on scene for approximately thirty minutes before returning to station..
