Assist to the Upper Merion Fire Department

Shortly after midnight, March 20th, Radnor Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Upper Merion Fire Department on a reported dwelling fire in the 300 block of King of Prussia Road in Upper Merion Township. The initial caller reported seeing flames at the side of the house.
The first arriving Upper Merion Engine updated the report to a large deck on fire adjacent to the house. Chief 15 arrived behind the first in engine.
Deputy 15, Engine 15 with a crew of five and Quint 15 with a crew of five arrived quickly and assisted in the firefighting effort.
After knocking down the fire, extensive overhaul took place to ensure that all hot spots were extinguished.
There were no injuries and no damage to the residence.
Radnor firefighters returned to the firehouse by 2 AM.
