WAYNE, PA - On Tuesday, November 16th at 4:29 p.m., Radnor Fire Company was dispatched to a backyard on Longwood Drive for a report of a fence on fire.

Chief 15 arrived and reported that sections of fence and a wood shelter were on fire. In addition, the cable lines directly above were burning. Dispatched units were advised that the best access was the 200 block of Sugartown Road. Tac 15 arrived and began pulling down the fence and extinguishing it with a hose line.

Berwyn Fire Company had been dispatched at the same time to an address in Easttown Township for a fire. Realizing that the two calls were the same, Berwyn was requested to respond to the Radnor call.

Berwyn firefighters supplied water from their trucks to Tac 15 and personnel assisted in extinguishing the fire. Radnor and Berwyn units cleared the scene at 5:33 p.m.
