Radnor Fire Company Announces Hiring Opportunity, 1 Full-Time Opening

WAYNE, PA - The Radnor Fire Company is currently hiring for (1) full-time position that is being funded by a grant received from FEMA through the Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Grants Program.

According to FEMA, this program was created to provide funding directly to fire departments and volunteer firefighter interest organizations to help them increase or maintain the number of trained, "front line" firefighters available in their communities. The goal of SAFER is to enhance the local fire departments' abilities to comply with staffing, response and operational standards established by the National Fire Protection Association.

The Radnor Fire Company is a combination organization that provides fire, rescue, Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support emergency medical services in Radnor Township, Delaware County and Tredyffrin Township, Chester County. Volunteers and career staff responded to 768 fire calls and 2,058 EMS calls in 2020.
