WAYNE, PA - On Tuesday, January 12th at 5:27 p.m., the Radnor Fire Company was dispatched to a report of smoke and flames in the area of Darby-Paoli Rd. and Saw Mill Rd. in Radnor Township. The caller to 9-1-1 was a motorist passing through the area.

Chief 15 (Joseph Maguire) arrived and located a brush fire approximately 200 yards off of Darby-Paoli Road. Responding firefighters were directed to the location and extinguished the fire with the help of a backhoe operator. All units were on location for approximately 30 minutes.
