WAYNE, PA - Starting on Christmas Eve and going through December 26th, Radnor Fire Company volunteers and career staff responded to thirty (30) emergency fire and rescue calls. Specifically, on Christmas Eve, firefighters were in service from 9 p.m. until 2:30 a.m. on Christmas morning.
With the torrential rain, several water rescues were successfully completed, numerous calls for downed trees and wires and two building fire investigations rounded out the total calls for the weekend.
