Radnor ATV Responds to Injured Subject on Skunk Hollow Park Trail

WAYNE, PA - On Sunday, September 20th, around 8:30 a.m., Radnor Fire Company EMS was dispatched to the Skunk Hollow Park trail off of Darby Paoli Rd. in Radnor Township for an injured person.

Upon arrival, the EMS crews requested the fire company’s ATV be dispatched because of the location of the victim. ATV 15, Rescue 15, and Engine 15 promptly responded to assist. Deputy Chief Michael Maguire established command and coordinated efforts with the on-scene EMS team. A crew rode the ATV into the woods to the victim and assisted EMS with patient packaging. The patient was loaded onto the ATV and brought out to the awaiting ambulance for transport to a local hospital.

As this incident was unfolding 3 additional calls were handled by volunteers and career staff between 8:30 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. A total of 11 fire/EMS calls were responded to on Sunday.
