Wayne, Pa. -- Radnor Fire Company bid goodbye Monday evening to the company's 1999 Emergency One Cyclone II Pumper as the officers and members of Chester Township Fire Company 47 came to RFC to take delivery of the engine purchased from RFC for their fleet.

Engine 15-1 was purchased new by Radnor Fire Company in 1999 and has run thousands of calls and served at hundreds of fires for Radnor Fire Company over the years. Reliable, fast, and always at the ready at fires, accidents and rescues, Engine 15-1 was a favorite of RFC engineers and crews spanning three decades.

Radnor Fire Company recently took delivery of a new Pierce Mini Pumper "Tac-15" which will officially join the fleet in early September. The new apparatus holds nearly 300 gallons of water and will provide the fire company with a more agile, multi-purpose response vehicle.

Congratulations to Chester Township Fire Company on the purchase of Engine 15-1. Take good care of her!
