The Family & Friends CPR program is for family members, friends and members of the general community who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card. This program is specifically designed for those who prefer to learn in a group environment with feedback from an instructor.
This program also can be a non-credentialed option for teaching CPR to middle and high school aged students in school settings. This program can be used in a variety of creative ways to teach lifesaving CPR skills to communities.

CPR-AED for the Community & Workplace

Basic First Aid
At work, injuries and illnesses kill more than two million people in the world each year. That’s one death every fifteen seconds or six thousand people a day. Safe practices and healthy choices at work, home and play can prevent many injuries, illnesses, diseases and deaths. However, once injury or sudden illness has occurred, providing effective first aid can make the difference between life and death; rapid vs. prolonged recovery; and temporary vs. permanent disability. This program focuses on what you must know and do in order to provide effective, confident first aid care.
Child and Babysitting Safety – C.A.B.S.
The C.A.B.S. program stresses the priority to keep you and the children you care for safe. Babysitting is not just “watching” the children, but being responsible for their safety and well being. When you are caring for a child, you are taking care of a parent(s) most prized possession. Everything in their home and your own home can be replaced— everything, that is, except a child.
CPR for the Professional Rescuer
CPR for the Professional Rescuer has been approved by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS)* and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). The program has been also been approved by many state health agencies and may be used to meet the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization’s (JCAHO) Resuscitation Standard. |
