On December 6, 2009 at 09:14 hours the rescue box was struck for the 3000 block of Sawmill Rd in Newtown Township. Rescue-41 arrived to find a vehicle into a drainage ditch with a single occupant trapped inside. Lt. McNeil called for mutual aid to assist with freeing the trapped victim. The upgrade called for Squad and Rescue-15 who responded within minutes. Crews were on station assisting with the Santa Breakfast when the dispatch was transmitted. All hands were put in-service helping to stabilize and package the victim. All crews were clear at 09:50 hours.
