Radnor Fire Company Responds To Early Morning Storage Facility Fire in King of Prussia, Provides Rapid Intervention Team "RIT" Support

Radnor Fire Company was dispatched at 7: 19 a.m., Saturday to a building fire at a storage facility in the 300 block of South Henderson Road in King of Prussia. Rescue 15 and a crew of Radnor firefighters were called on to provide rapid intervention team "RIT" support to first responding fire companies.

Fire companies from King of Prussia, Swedeland, Swedesburg, Bridgeport and Norristown all responded to the scene. First-in companies found smoke coming from the roof of a row of storage units. Crews made entry and found fire had spread throughout several storage units. Firefighters attacked the fire, brought it under control and spent time removing burnt debris from the storage lockers.

There were no reported injuries. Rescue 15 was cleared from the scene by 8:30 a.m.
