Car, Shed Fire Tuesday Night in Tredyffrin Jump Starts Radnor Fire Company's New Year

The Radnor Fire Company was dispatched at 9:09 p.m. Tuesday, to a car and shed fire in the 300 block of McMull Drive in Tredyffrin Township. Squad 15 and Deputy 15 were first on scene at 9:15 p.m. to find a commercial Chevrolet pick-up truck with its engine compartment fully involved and fire extension to the front of a nearby shed.

Engine 15-1, MICU 15 and Berwyn Fire Company's Chief 2 arrived on scene to provide support and water supply from a nearby hydrant. Fire fighters made quick work of the fire and gained access to the shed to ensure the fire was fully under control. Deputy 15 reported the fire under control by 9:20 p.m.

Tredyffrin Police provided support on scene. There were no reported injuries to civilian or fire personnel. All units were cleared from the scene by 9:45 p.m.
