Fire Damages Garage in Radnor Township

Earlier this morning, the Radnor Fire Company was dispatched at 8:45 a.m. to the 300 block of Conestoga Road in Radnor Township for a structure fire.

Radnor Fire Chief Joseph Maguire arrived on location and reported heavy smoke showing from a detached garage. The fire was brought under control due to the quick action of the first arriving crew of Radnor Engine 15-1. All units cleared the scene by 10:00 a.m.

The Berwyn Fire Company assisted at the scene with fire and EMS personnel, while the Radnor Twp Police Department provided traffic control between Brooke Rd. and Church Rd.

There was no civilian injuries, but one firefighter was treated on scene for heat exhaustion.
