DEVON, PA - The Radnor Fire Company participated in the Tribute to Heroes ceremony at the Devon Horse Show on Monday night. This was the 2nd year this special event was held to recognize all branches of the military and first responders.

Personnel from the Valley Forge Military Academy & College, Berwyn Fire Company, Easttown Township Police Department, and the Radnor Township Police Department also participated in the presentation of colors. The Church Farm School Choir, based in nearby Exton, performed the National Anthem and God Bless America.

A special tribute was made for PennSTAR Medevac Pilot Michael R. Murphy who tragically lost his life, on May 25, 2017, while flying a helicopter for the University of Pennsylvania Health System in New Castle, Delaware. Pilot Murphy’s sacrifice and dedication to helping others will not be forgotten.
